My fascination with Dutch still life paintings from the 1600s inspired this contemporary collection of abstract floral paintings on dark moody backgrounds of Payne’s Gray. The gestural paint strokes using palette knives, oil pastels, and inks are the sure stars of the show; as are the colors within them.
